News: Acid victim, Naomi Oni's attacker finally caught. Guess who it was.....

21 year old acid victim Naomi Oni was disfigured for life after an unknown person wearing a Niqāb threw acid in her face as she walked home from work on Sunday December 30th 2012 in Lodge Avenue Dagenham, east London. Naomi only described her attacker as a woman wearing an Islamic veil. Over a year later, police has been able to identify the person behind the veil. It was her jealous 21 year old friend, Mary Konye. According to new reports released by police and tendered in court, Mary, a student at Hertfordshire university, disguised herself in a Niqāb, which showed only her eyes and closely followed Naomi home and allegedly poured the acid on her when they got to a deserted area. She fled the scene immediately after.

News: Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air Will Smith Finally Breaks Silence On James Avery's Death

In the wake of James Avery's death, messages came pouring in from the "Fresh Prince of Bel-Air" cast as word spread about the actor's passing. Yet there was one key member of the group missing: Will Smith. On Sunday, the show's lead took to Facebook to express his thoughts on "Uncle Phil." Along with a photo of Smith, Avery, Alfonso Ribeiro, Karyn Parsons and Tatyana Ali, he stated: "Some of my greatest lessons in Acting, Living and being a respectable human being came through James Avery. Every young man needs an Uncle Phil. Rest in Peace" When the news hit, Smith was with wife Jada Pinkett Smith in Dubai as the couple celebrated their 16th anniversary. She, too, remembered Avery and offered her condolences to his wife Barbara. The 65-year-old star died Dec. 31 at a hospital in Glendale, Calif. due to complications from an open-heart surgery on Nov. 11.

News: 'Brain Dead' Jahi McMath Leaves Hospital- Lawyer says she is in 'bad shape'

The 13-year-old California girl declared brain dead  after a tonsillectomy has been taken out of Children's Hospital of Oakland, her family's attorney said late Sunday. Jahi McMath left the hospital in a private ambulance shortly before 8 p.m. Sunday, Christopher Dolan told The Associated Press. She was taken by a critical care team while attached to a ventilator but without a feeding tube, Dolan said. Her destination was not immediately disclosed. "It was a very tense situation," said Dolan. "Everybody played by the rules." David Durand, the hospital's Chief of Pediatrics, said the girl was released to the coroner. The coroner then released her into the custody of her mother, Nailah Winkfield, as per court order, Durand said in an email. On Friday Alameda County Superior Court Judge Evelio Grillo said Jahi could be transferred under an agreement with Children's Hospital and the girl's mother will be held accountab...

Stella Oduah, Nigeria’s minister of aviation faces a fresh integrity scrutiny over her claim that she obtained an MBA degree from an American university. News: First black lady in 7 years joins Saturday Night Live

Sasheer Zamata has been named the newest cast member of Saturday Night Live , making her the sketch comedy's first black female cast member since Maya Rudolph left the show in 2007. Zamata will make her SNL debut on its next live show set for Jan. 18. Drake will serve as both host and musical guest. Zamata is a graduate of the University of Virginia and trained at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre in New York. Congrats to Zamata!
