The introduction ceremony of Mavin artist, Dr Sid and his fashion consultant fiancee Simi Osomo will hold tomorrow in Lagos. Their wedding will hold next year. The couple got engaged on August 7th. Big congrats to them.

                              As soon as the world heard of Nelson Mandela's death yesterday, Thur Dec 5, a 'fake' tweet by Paris Hilton buzzed on the internet. This tweet earned nearly 15,000 retweets by the time Paris caught wind of it! Paris slammed the Twitter account @DeletedTweets after they posted a screengrab of what looked to be a tweet from her confusing the South African leader for Martin Luther King Jr. when posting about Mandela's death. LOL "Whoever made that stupid fake tweet lacks respect to the loss the world is mourning right now. Same goes for all the blogs who ran with it," Hilton tweeted.

From a male LIB reader I just found out that my new boss is the man my wife dumped a few years ago to marry me. The man was planning to marry her and saw her through her university days financially and also supported her family. We met during our NYSC, fell in love and got married shortly after. My woman handled the discharging of her ex codedly. Now 4 years into our marriage, there's a big issue. I just got this really good job and my direct boss happens to be the man my wife dumped for me. He knows who I am because he confronted me back when my wife left him for me, but since I started this job, he hasn't said anything to me but I noticed he excludes me from most of the activities that concern staff and I suspect he's trying to sabotage me. He hasn't done anything yet, I'm just worried that he has bad plans for me. Should I quit or should I wait to see what he's up to? I don't look forward to going to work at all.

The Nkwerre Vigilante Network this week arrested a six-man gang specialized in the sale of human parts for rituals and transplant in Nkwerre, Imo State. The men confessed to kidnapping their victims at various locations in the state and using their parts for ritual purposes. Some parts they sold to people who needed them for transplant. Yeah, there are human beings like this amongst us. The men, who are mostly bricklayers, confessed that they sell the parts from N500k to N1million, depending on the parts in demand. Two of the ritual killers were found to be pastors. The men took the vigilante network members and some policemen to their hideout which is a forest in Umugara Village in Nkwerre. For quite some time now, the Copyrights Society of Nigeria (COSON), has been harassing the Broadcasting Society of Nigeria (BON) and the Independent Broadcasting Society of Nigeria, IBAN, insisting that they pay royalties for playing the songs of Nigerian artists. COSON has dragged several radio and TV stations to court, demanding millions, sometimes billions of Naira in royalty. Well, it seems IBAN and BON have had enough. Two days ago, they announced the ban of all Nigerian artists registered with COSON. Meaning that they ordered the immediate stop to the airing of songs of artists who are COSON members. The artists include 2face Idibia, D'banj, Onyeka Onwenu, Iyanya, Banky W, Flavour, Ice Prince, Dr Sid, Olamide, 9ice, M.I, eLDee, Ruggedman, Wizkid, Asa, Waje, Omawumi and several others. South African Government has announced the death of Nelson Mandela. South African president Jacob Zuma announced that the former president and anti-apartheid revolutionary passed away peacefully in the company of his family in his home in Johannesburg around 8:50 this evening Dec. 5th. He was 95 years old. His death marks the final chapter in a life that changed South Africa forever. What a man! May his soul rest in peace, amen. President Jacob Zuma said flags will be flown at half-mast across South Africa immediately with a state burial to follow. The UK government have also announced that flags will be flown at half-mast in the UK. Rest in peace, Madiba!

The Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja has been temporarily closed by officials of the Nigerian Airspace Management Authority, NAMA, following the breakdown of a Saudi Arabian Boeing 747 cargo plane on the runway of the airport last night. The airport authorities say the plane, which veered after landing at the airport, has to be fixed before it can be evacuated from the runway. This closure has adversely affected all flights that are Abuja bound as well as those that were billed to travel to other parts of the country. Many Abuja bound passengers are now stranded. The Los Angeles County coroner's office has determined the official causes of death for Paul Walker and Roger Rodas. After conducting autopsies on both men, the office confirmed today, Wednesday, Dec. 4, that Rodas died of multiple traumatic injuries. Walker died of the combined effects of traumatic and thermal injuries. The deaths were ruled to be accidental. Toxicology results are pending and may take several weeks. May God rest their souls- Amen.

Okay, some people have actually aired their opinions and think the Governor of Edo state, Nigeria should marry the widow, Mrs Joy Ifije. According to some people interviewed by PREMIUM TIMES, the meeting between the governor and the widow may have been occasioned by divine forces. The respondents were of the opinion that, being a widower, there was no harm in the Governor remarrying and that it would be appropriate to marry a widow. I am of the opinion and conviction that the meeting and the incident between the governor and the widow, which later attracted public attention, was divine.
